Manufacturer looks to the future with property purchase

A Somerset manufacturer of industrial fans has completed the purchase of its premises in a move to safeguard its future.

Fans and Blowers has bought the plant in Highbridge, which it was previously renting, thanks to a commercial mortgage from NatWest.

Managing director James Newey said: “Purchasing our premises means a massive saving over rent and has secured our future here in Somerset. The cash that we save will be reinvested in both short and long term plans.”

The company is in the process of recruiting six more members of staff, including two engineering apprentices, which will bring the total number employed to 36.
